We are seeking experienced Diesel Fitters, Diesel Mechanics, or Trade Assistants (diesel/mechanical background) to join the team at the Laverton North depot.

This is a primarily workshop-based role, with occasional on-site and overnight work as required. Ideal for those not interested in FIFO and looking for strong work–life balance while putting their skills to positive use.

The Role

You will be working on mobile plant and mining-related equipment, including:

- Crushers, screens and conveyor systems
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Replacing bearings and mechanical components
- Basic auto-electrical work and fault finding

About You

- Qualified Diesel Fitter / Diesel Mechanic, or experienced Trade Assistant (diesel/mechanical)




- Valid Drivers Licence
- Experience with mobile plant or mining equipment
- Welding & fabrication experience (STICK & MIG)
- Spray painting fabricated parts and machine touch ups
- Electrical – troubleshooting 12-24v systems and component replacement
- Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills
- Safety-focused and reliable
- Full Australian working rights

Desirable

- Experience with crushers, screens and conveyor systems
- Mining or site-based maintenance experience
