What you'll be doing
As the Diet Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the Diet Office, CBORD system and Formula Room, ensuring the delivery of efficient, patient-centred nutrition services. You will lead staff, coordinate workflows and act as a key liaison between Dietetics, Food Services and Information Technology teams to support safe and effective meal management.
- Supervise Diet Office and Formula Room operations, including rostering, leave management and staff coordination
- Lead the management, maintenance and optimisation of CBORD, Cerner and other diet office systems to support accurate diet ordering and meal delivery
- Monitor staffing, stock levels, nutritional supplements and equipment to ensure uninterrupted service delivery
- Collaborate with clinical dietetics, food services and IT stakeholders to resolve issues, manage system changes and maintain patient safety standards
- Drive quality improvement initiatives including patient satisfaction surveys, menu audits, compliance activities and staff training programs

1. High level customer service skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the use of the telephone
2. Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and team and problem solving skills

Ability to work in a team and with minimal supervision and use initiative
5. Highly developed computer and administrative skills, including a working knowledge of Cbord and Cerner
6. Previous work experience as a diet supervisor or health services manager, including experience in nutritional screening and clinical duties
7. Knowledge of quality improvement practices in the workplace and ability to lead quality improvement activities
8. Dietary Supervisors Certificate or Certificate 3 or 4 in Allied Health Service Assistant (Nutrition and Dietetics) or food science/nutrition undergraduate qualification or equivalent or relevant experience
