Wenona is seeking an exceptional technology leader to join our Leadership Team as Director of ICT. This is a pivotal role for a highly capable and service-oriented leader who understands that technology exists to support teaching, learning and the effective operation of the School.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the successful candidate will lead the School's ICT strategy, operations, cyber security, projects and technology team, ensuring the delivery of secure, reliable and user-focused technology services across the School.
We are looking for a hands-on leader with strong technical capability, excellent communication skills and a proven ability to build high-performing teams. The successful candidate will be highly accountable, customer-focused and able to translate complex technical issues into practical solutions that meet the needs of staff, students and the wider School community.

You are a proven technology leader who understands that great ICT outcomes start with understanding the needs of the organisation, its people and its objectives. You have a strong record of aligning technology initiatives with business priorities and delivering practical, user-focused solutions that create value. You will bring:
- Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing ICT teams.
- The ability to build strong, trusted relationships across a diverse stakeholder community.
- A commitment to accountability, service excellence and continuous improvement.
- Strong cyber security, technology risk management and digital resilience experience.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into transparent and practical advice.
- A hands-on leadership style, strong work ethic and a track record of delivering outcomes.
- Experience fostering a positive, customer-focused culture where responsibilities are clear, people are supported, and performance expectations are met.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution, while maintaining close oversight of priorities, risks and service delivery.
