Tennis West is now calling for nominations for two elected Director positions on the Tennis West Board, with each position carrying a three-year term, in accordance with our constitution and normal AGM cycle. We encourage clubs and associations to share this opportunity with suitably qualified members who may be interested in contributing to the future of tennis in Western Australia.
As a skills-based Board, Tennis West is particularly seeking candidates with experience in one or more of the following priority areas:
- Financial expertise
- Community sport knowledge and experience
- High-performance sport experience
Nomination process
(Please note candidates must follow the process outlined below)
We support candidate nominations from both regional and metropolitan Western Australia. We welcome people from all backgrounds to our Board, particularly First Nations people, those from culturally and racially diverse backgrounds and those living with a disability.
We also aim to uphold CITS’s gender equity standard for State Sporting Association Board positions.
All nominations must be submitted through the online Vero platform and include:
- Two supporting seconders from current 2026/27 affiliated tennis clubs
- A cover letter and resume
- A candidate statement

All nominations will be assessed by the majority independent Nominations Committee against the Board’s skills and capability requirements. Suitable candidates will be shortlisted and interviewed before the election process proceeds.
