Mad Dogs & Englishmen Albany Creek is looking to expand and hire a reliable person to join our crew of dog walkers.
Your role will be to pick up our beloved pups based in and around Cashmere-Grange for a fantastic adventure out at the local dog parks or creeks during the day, and then return them home, happy and tired for their owners.
Full training will be provided.
Your responsibilities involve
- Driving one of our vans to collect and drop off dogs to and from their homes
- Supervising groups of up to 4 dogs at off-leash dog parks or creeks
- Taking photos and videos of each outing to share with the dog’s owners on our social media
- Picking up dog poo
- Van cleaning
We are looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about dogs
- Confident handling dogs of all sizes as we accept all breeds
- Able to read dog body language
- Reliable, honest, and trustworthy
- Punctual and efficient
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Able to work independently
- Able to work in the heat, mud, and rain as we operate in all weather year round
Our requirements:
- Smart phone with the ability to capture and send high quality photos and videos
- Reliable mobile data plan to send photos and videos throughout the day
- Availability Wednesday - Friday from 7:30am, more days will be offered as business grows
- Police check or be prepared to obtain one
- Experience working with dogs is preferred but not necessary
- Open/Manual drivers license is prefered
