Hercules Transport Group is looking for reliable and professional drivers to join our growing transport operation based in East Bendigo.

We have several positions available across our local delivery, Victorian line haul and interstate long-haul operations, with opportunities available for drivers holding licences ranging from a Car Licence through to HR, HC and MC.

Whether you're looking for local work that gets you home regularly, regional line haul, or interstate driving, we would like to hear from you.

Local Delivery Drivers

Licence: Car Licence and above

Local delivery work throughout Bendigo and surrounding areas, primarily delivering beverages and other goods to local businesses.

Duties may include

- Multi-drop deliveries to businesses and retail customers
- Loading and unloading freight
- Checking and completing delivery documentation
- Providing professional customer service
- Maintaining delivery schedules and accurate PODs
- Manual handling as required

This role would suit someone who enjoys being active, dealing with customers and working independently throughout the day.

Victorian Line Haul Drivers

Licences: HR | HC | MC

Line haul work servicing Melbourne, Bendigo and regional Victorian locations.

Duties may include

- Depot-to-depot and customer freight movements
- Regional and Melbourne line haul
- Completing required transport documentation
- Load checks and load restraint
- Pre-start vehicle inspections
- Working within fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility requirements

We are looking for drivers who are confident operating heavy vehicles and can work safely and efficiently to scheduled delivery times. Interstate Long-Haul Drivers

Licence: MC

Interstate long-haul positions operating primarily between:

Melbourne ↔ Adelaide





Melbourne ↔ Sydney

These positions are suited to experienced MC drivers who are comfortable with interstate operations and extended-distance driving.

Experience with B-Doubles is highly regarded.

What We're Looking For

Depending on the position, successful applicants will have:

- Current and appropriate Australian driver's licence
- Safe and competent driving history
- Strong commitment to road safety
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Professional attitude when dealing with customers
- Ability to complete delivery paperwork and use electronic POD/scanning systems
- Good understanding of fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility requirements for heavy vehicle roles
- Ability to complete pre-start inspections and report vehicle defects
- Appropriate level of physical fitness for the position

HR, HC and MC drivers with transport, line haul, B-Double or multi-drop experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Hercules Transport Group Pty Ltd Pay: $28.53 – $45.92 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
