Role Description The Early Childhood Educator will plan, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young children in an on-site setting located in Elwood, VIC.

Responsibilities include creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom workplace, supporting children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, and guiding play-based learning activities. The educator will observe and document children’s progress, communicate regularly with families and colleagues, and contribute to curriculum planning and center events. Daily tasks also involve maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies, and collaborating with the team to uphold high-quality care and education standards.

This role is an on-site position requiring consistent presence at the Elwood, VIC location.

Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children,



families, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and experience working with children in an educational or care setting.
- Creativity skills to design engaging, play-based learning experiences and classroom activities.
- Organization skills to plan lessons, manage classroom routines, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Relevant early childhood education qualification or certification, in line with local regulatory requirements.
- Understanding of child safety standards and commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practices.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in planning curriculum aligned with early learning frameworks is advantageous.
