Early Childhood Educators - IMMEDIATE START

Nestled in the coastal community of Shoalwater, our brand-new centre provides a welcoming, light-filled environment with engaging play spaces and a nature-inspired outdoor area where children can learn, explore and thrive. We are looking for a passionate Diploma Qualified Educators to join our team and support the daily operations of our growing service.

About the Role

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing within a warm, safe, and inclusive environment. Working alongside a team of passionate educators, you will contribute to the planning and implementation of engaging educational experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.

You will build solid, positive relationships with children and their families, ensuring every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. Through meaningful interactions and intentional teaching practices, you will help create a nurturing environment where children can develop confidence, independence, and essential life skills.

This role involves actively participating in the day-to-day operations of the service, including supervising children, maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment, documenting children's learning and development, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to uphold the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).





The successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine passion for early childhood education, a commitment to delivering high-quality care, and the ability to work effectively as part of a supportive and professional team.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure children are safe, secure, and actively supervised at all times
- Support engaging, play-based and child-led learning experiences
- Foster inclusion and support all children’s individual needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment
- Support children’s daily routines and transitions
- Build respectful, positive relationships with children
- Develop strong partnerships with families
- Guide children in developing cooperative and positive behaviour

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards).

- Minimum 1 year experience
- Current Working With Children Check and Police Clearance
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and care.
- Strong understanding of child safety and safeguarding practices.
