We are currently seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated casual Educator to support the smooth operation of our Kindergarten.

About the Role
As a Casual Kindergarten Educator, you will work alongside the Kindergarten Director and Early Childhood Teacher to support the delivery of a high-quality Kindergarten program as required. You will contribute to the implementation of learning experiences aligned with the National Quality Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline while supporting children to reach their full potential.
As this is a casual position, shifts will be offered according to the operational and staffing needs of the Kindergarten.

Key responsibilities include
- Assisting with the implementation of the Kindergarten educational program
- Supporting children’s literacy, numeracy, social and emotional development
- Working with individual children and small groups to support learning goals
- Assisting with classroom preparation, organisation and administrative tasks
- Supporting positive behaviour and helping children develop healthy social skills
- Monitoring and communicating children’s progress and wellbeing to teaching staff
- Supervising children during learning activities, transitions and playground times
- Maintaining strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Participating in relevant professional learning, staff meetings and development opportunities as required
- Supporting children with additional learning and developmental needs to participate fully in the Kindergarten program
About You
You are a positive and nurturing educator who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to providing exceptional care and educational support for young children. You are flexible and able to respond confidently to the changing staffing and operational needs of a Kindergarten workplace. You will demonstrate

Essential Requirements
- Certificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current Blue Card for Child Related Employment, or the ability to obtain one

- an Australian Citizen; or
- a permanent resident; or
- hold an appropriate permit to work in Australia
