About the Role

As our Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in leading curriculum development, supporting educators, and delivering high-quality education programs aligned with the EYLF V2.0, NQS, and Birds of Paradise’s commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and evaluate high-quality educational programs.
- Lead intentional teaching practices to support each child’s learning journey.
- Collaborate with educators, mentor team members, and contribute to professional discussions.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and community partners.




- Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework and service policies.
- Support ongoing reflective practice and contribute to the service's Quality Improvement Plan.
- Model ethical, inclusive, caring leadership aligned with Birds of Paradise values.

Qualifications & Requirements To be considered, you must have:

- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
- Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong understanding of EYLF V2.0, NQS, and child development principles.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.

Highly desirable:

- Provisional or full NESA Registration (support can be provided).
- Experience mentoring or supporting educators.
- Knowledge of inclusion, trauma-informed practice, and behaviour support.
