ROLE OUTLINE This is a part-time (0.6 FTE), fixed-term (1 year) position. As an Education Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting positive student outcomes by helping create rich, purposeful and inclusive learning experiences. You will assist teachers in delivering high-quality learning programs provide individual and small-group support, and help maintain a positive, protected and nurturing environment where all students can thrive.

Working closely with teachers, you will support students to access the curriculum, develop essential skills and achieve their personal learning goals. Your encouragement, guidance and practical assistance will contribute to their social, emotional,



spiritual and academic growth.

Your Day Will Look Like

- Assisting with classroom activities and learning programs
- Providing individual and small-group support to enhance student
- Helping maintain a calm, safe and nurturing learning environment
- Encouraging independence, confidence and positive learning behaviours
- Modelling the College's values and actively supporting the Catholic ethos of the College

Requirements For The Role

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- A current Working with Children registration
- To be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education
- To be working towards or have completed the Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School
