About the Role This is an Educational Leader role where you’ll have the time and opportunity to actually lead educational practice.
Working closely with the Director and educator team, you’ll help shape engaging programs, mentor educators and strengthen programming and reflective practice across the service.
You’ll remain connected to the children and daily program, while also having dedicated admin time to focus on your Educational Leader responsibilities.
Your role will include
- Leading engaging, child-led programming and educational practice
- Mentoring educators and building their confidence
- Supporting meaningful documentation and reflective practice
- Bringing children’s interests, ideas and voices into the program
- Supporting MTOP, NQS and continuous improvement
- Working collaboratively with the Director, educators, families and school community

About You You could already be an Educational Leader, Coordinator, 2IC or experienced Senior Educator. More importantly,
you’ll be someone who loves OSHC, enjoys supporting other educators and wants to create programs that go beyond simply filling in a planner.
You’ll ideally bring
- Strong OSHC/OOSH experience
- A passion for programming and school-age pedagogy
- Confidence mentoring and supporting educators
- Knowledge of My Time, Our Place, the NQS and NQF
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A collaborative, organised and positive approach
- A current NSW Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain one
A relevant qualification in School Age Education and Care, Early Childhood, Education or a related field will be highly regarded. Child Safeguarding We’re looking for an individual who understands, adheres to and promotes the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations and actively contributes to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
Child safeguarding methods include, but are not limited to:
- NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain
- Thorough screening
- Reference checks
- National criminal history check
