Role Description This full-time Electrician role is an in office position based in Melbourne, VIC. The Electrician will carry out scheduled electrical maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

Daily tasks include diagnosing electrical issues, performing troubleshooting, installing and testing electrical systems and components, and ensuring all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations. The role involves working with tools and testing equipment, completing accurate documentation of work performed, and coordinating with supervisors, team members, and clients to plan and deliver timely solutions.



The Electrician will also support continuous improvement initiatives, adhere to company procedures, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of electricity and electrical principles, with the ability to work safely with live and de-energized systems.
- Practical experience in electrical work, including installation, wiring, and system upgrades.
- Skilled in maintenance & repair of electrical equipment, fixtures, and infrastructure.
- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical faults and diagnosing technical issues efficiently.
- Background in electrical engineering concepts or formal training in electrical systems is beneficial.
- Relevant trade qualification, electrical license, and up-to-date understanding of local codes and standards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to safety, including adherence to OH&S; requirements and use of appropriate PPE.
- Good communication skills, reliability, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various sites within Melbourne, VIC as needed.
