- PQE and strong litigation experience for a 6-month secondment with a global technology and consumer business, with strong potential to extend.

This is a hands-on role focused on employment disputes, Fair Work Commission matters, workplace investigations and litigation strategy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment The Role

Working with Clario, you will be seconded into a global technology and consumer business with a national footprint and a distributed workforce.

You will work closely with the business, People &

- Culture teams and external counsel to manage matters from initial instructions through to resolution.

Key Areas Of Focus Will Include

- unfair dismissal and other employment-related disputes
- Fair Work Commission proceedings
- workplace investigations and disciplinary matters
- employment litigation and dispute strategy
- day-to-day workplace relations advice in a fast-paced environment.

Experience advising gig-economy platforms, app-based workforces or other non-traditional employment models will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage a broad portfolio of employment disputes, including unfair dismissal and other Fair Work Commission matters.
- Prepare and review responses, submissions, witness statements, chronologies, evidence bundles and other litigation documentation.
- Represent or support the representation of the business at Fair Work Commission conciliations, conferences and hearings.
- Work closely with external counsel on more complex or contested proceedings, including briefing counsel and coordinating evidence and instructions.
- Conduct and support workplace investigations into grievances, misconduct, performance and other employment-related concerns.
- Provide practical legal advice on performance management, disciplinary processes, termination,



procedural fairness and workplace risk.
- Work closely with People &
- Culture, operations and senior stakeholders to assess legal and commercial risk and develop pragmatic dispute-resolution strategies.
- Manage procedural deadlines and maintain accurate oversight of a high volume of active matters.
- Assist with improving templates, playbooks and internal processes for investigations, disputes and Fair Work Commission proceedings.
- Monitor developments in employment law, workplace relations and Fair Work Commission practice.

About You

- An Australian-qualified lawyer with at least 5 years’
- PQE, ideally specialising in employment, workplace relations or industrial relations.
- Strong litigation and dispute-resolution experience, either from private practice, in-house or a combination of both.
- Demonstrated experience managing Fair Work Commission proceedings, particularly unfair dismissal or related employment disputes.
- Confident preparing evidence, witness statements, submissions and other litigation materials.
- Experience conducting or advising on workplace investigations, disciplinary processes and termination matters.
- A strong understanding of the Fair Work Act and broader Australian employment law framework.
- Experience working with gig-economy, app-based or non-traditional workforce models will be highly regarded.
- Comfortable managing a high volume of matters and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to provide transparent and commercially focused legal advice.
- Pragmatic, organised and solutions-focused, with sound judgement and strong attention to detail.
