Keeping registrations current To ensure our Employment register contains current application details; we will email you in 6 months to review and resubmit your application. You may update your resume or withdraw your application at any time.Eligibility To be eligible for employment at the ATO, applicants should:

- hold Australian citizenship
- be willing to undergo an Australian Federal Police check
- be willing and eligible to obtain a security clearance to the level applicable to the position.

As vacancies arise during the year, your application will be shared with the relevant business areas to consider whether your experience, qualifications, and skills align with available positions. If you are found suitable, the business area representative will contact you to discuss the potential opportunity further.

If you register your interest in ongoing (permanent) employment, you may receive an email providing information about ongoing vacancies advertised through the APS Gazette. If a vacancy is advertised as ongoing, you will be required to submit a separate application in accordance with the requirements of that recruitment process.
