About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in the South East of Melbourne. This is a full time position on a casual contract, with the opportunity and intention to transition into a permanent full-time position for the right person.

The successful applicant will be a highly skilled and reliable operator who takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and productivity.

You will be responsible for operating plant and equipment safely and efficiently while completing works in accordance with company procedures,



industry standards and legislative requirements.

Key Requirements

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in final trim excavation using GPS
- Proven experience operating excavators in a civil construction setting
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Current White Card / relevant industry card
- Relevant plant and machinery tickets
- Strong understanding and commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Proven ability to work safely, efficiently and unsupervised
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
- Excellent work ethic and a proven history of reliability and consistent performance
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members
