The Role:

You’ll have the freedom to work from home and visit participants in their homes, schools, workplaces, and community settings. Your role will focus on understanding the relationship between a participant's environment and their behaviour, then creating positive changes to foster skill development and success.

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you’ll:

- Assess behaviour and turn insights into practical, person-centred strategies
- Develop, implement and review high-quality Comprehensive Positive Behaviour Support Plans
- Identify, assess and support the reduction of restrictive practices in line with NDIS requirements
- Work closely with participants, families, carers and support teams to create meaningful outcomes
- Coach support networks to confidently put strategies into practice
- Collaborate with experienced practitioners through supervision, peer learning and professional development
- Explore opportunities beyond your caseload, including projects, workshops and research

Role requirements you bring:

- Registration as an NDIS-suitable Behaviour Support Practitioner




- Passion for the science and people behind behaviour support
- Relevant qualifications in fields like Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work etc.
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and a collaborative approach
- A current driver's license and roadworthy vehicle, NDIS Worker Screening, and Working with Children Check.
