Role Description This full time, on-site role is based in Bassendean, WA and combines responsibilities for an Experienced CNC Machinist and an Experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper. The CNC Machinist will set up, program, and operate CNC machinery to produce precision components, perform routine machine maintenance, and verify product quality against drawings and specifications. The machinist will collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes, maintain safe work practices,



and support continuous improvement across machining operations.

The Accountant/Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. The accounting role will prepare financial reports, support budgeting and cost-control initiatives, ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and work closely with management to provide accurate and timely financial information.

Qualifications

- CNC machining proficiency, including Machine Operation, Machining, and Milling skills for precision component manufacture.
- Experience working with industrial Machinery and applying Quality Control practices to ensure products meet specifications and safety standards.
- Demonstrated experience in accounting and bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments, engineering drawings, and production workflows; prior experience in metal fabrication or similar industries is highly regarded.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency with relevant software tools such as CNC programming interfaces, ERP or accounting systems (e.g., MYOB, Xero, or similar), and standard office applications.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement.
