Pearla | North Fremantle

Pearla is looking for experienced Section Waiters and Bar Staff to join our Front of House team as we head into summer.

Since opening in North Fremantle, Pearla has been named in the Gourmet Traveller Top 100, awarded 2 Stars by the WA Good Food Guide, and recognised as one of The Australian's Top 50 Restaurants.

We're a small, independent coastal restaurant with a focus on great food and wine, but a warm and relaxed approach to service.

Section Waiters

We’re looking for experienced waiters who are comfortable taking ownership of a section and genuinely enjoy looking after people and working in hospitality. You’ll work closely with our kitchen, bar and leadership team, with plenty of opportunity to build your food and wine knowledge and be part of shaping the Pearla experience.

You’ll be:

- Running your own section confidently
- Building genuine connections with guests
- Guiding guests through our food and wine offering
- Working closely with the kitchen and bar throughout service
- Maintaining strong service and presentation standards
- Supporting the wider FOH team during busy services

Ideally, you’ll have:

- 2+ years’ experience in a quality restaurant
- Experience confidently running your own section
- Current RSA and Food Safety Certificate
- A genuine interest in food, wine and hospitality
- Strong communication skills and a calm approach under pressure
- Availability across evenings and weekends
- Positive availability across our peak summer period from October to March

Bar Staff





We’re also looking for experienced Bar Staff who love hospitality, enjoy engaging with guests and take pride in producing great drinks. Our bar is central in the restaurant and a key part to what we do, so we’re looking for someone who can balance quality cocktail and wine service with the pace of a busy dining room.

You’ll be:

- Preparing cocktails, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages
- Looking after guests dining at the bar
- Supporting restaurant service with beverage orders
- Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked bar
- Working closely with the floor and kitchen teams

Ideally, you’ll have:

- Experience in a quality cocktail or restaurant bar
- Strong cocktail and wine knowledge, or a genuine desire to learn
- The ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail
- Current RSA and Food Safety Certificate
- Availability across evenings and weekends
- Good availability across our peak summer period from November to April

What We Offer

- Restaurant Award Level 2–3, depending on experience
- $33.85–$48.95 per hour + super and applicable penalty rates
- Around 20 hours per week initially, with more hours available over summer
