We are looking for an experienced, organised and confident Showroom Coordinator / Consultant to join our team.

This is a hands-on coordination role with responsibility for the day-to-day operation of our showrooms, management and support of showroom staff, customer enquiry management and maintaining a high standard of customer service and maintaining Direct Kitchens CRM.

We are looking for someone with proven experience coordinating people and operations who is comfortable taking ownership, providing direction and working closely with management, attend events held by suppliers and Direct Kitchens.

About the Role

As our Showroom Coordinator, you will be responsible for helping ensure our showroom team operates effectively and customers receive a consistent and professional experience.

You will coordinate staff, monitor customer enquiries and follow-ups, assist with rostering and daily priorities, support the showroom team and act as an important link between showroom consultants, designers and management.

This is a hands-on position. You will work directly with customers as a Showroom Consultant when required, so strong customer service and communication skills are equally important.

Showroom Coordinator Duties

- Coordinate the day-to-day operation of our showrooms
- Supervise, support and provide direction to showroom consultants
- Coordinate staff rosters and ensure appropriate showroom coverage
- Organise daily priorities and delegate responsibilities where required
- Monitor customer enquiries, appointments and outstanding follow-ups
- Assist with training, onboarding and development of showroom staff




- Coordinate communication between showroom consultants, designers and management
- Maintain accurate showroom records and reporting
- Ensure showroom displays, samples and customer areas are organised and professionally presented
- Take ownership of day-to-day showroom operations and escalate matters to management when necessary

Showroom Consultant Duties As this is a hands-on role, you will also assist with normal showroom activities, including:

- Understand customers' renovation needs and project requirements
- Explain Direct Kitchens' products, services and renovation process
- Qualify customer enquiries and collect relevant project information
- Arrange appointments with our design team
- Assist customers with showroom products, finishes and general information
- Provide a professional and welcoming customer experience

Skills & Experience Previous team coordination, supervisory or management experience is required for this position.

- Proven experience coordinating, supervising or managing a customer-facing team (essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate computer skills (essential)
- Previous experience in kitchens, cabinetry, or related industries (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Ability to learn current products, systems and processes

Previous experience within a showroom, retail, sales or customer service environment will be highly regarded. Experience within the kitchen, cabinetry, building, renovation or interior design industry would be an advantage but is not essential.
