The opportunity

We are currently looking for an experienced Exploration Field Assistant to join the team at our Duketon operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of drilling and sample collection, adding value through execution of effective exploration programs resulting in the discovery of new resources and reserves.

This is a FIFO role (8:6 roster) from Perth.

The Main Responsibilities Of This Role Include

- Application of appropriate sampling technology to meet Regis QA / QC requirements
- Accurately cutting and marking up diamond drill core
- Daily field data entry, submitted to the Perth office weekly
- Daily audits on field vehicles to ensure they are maintained in good working order
- Maintain all communication equipment (UHF, Spot,



inReach and satellite phones) in working order
- Inspection of work area and equipment for hazards, malfunctions and damage
- Use of GPS and Compass to set out drill holes and line up rigs
- Collection of samples (from drills and other geological techniques)

About You Desired Skills and Experience To Be Successful For This Role, You Will Have

- Previous experience in working with all aspects of mineral exploration including drilling and earthmoving contractors
- Familiarity with data entry and excel spreadsheets
- Current WA class C manual drivers licence
- 4WD competency (certified) mandatory
- Current Senior/Perform First Aid Certificate
- Possesses a solid work ethic and strong desire to do things safely and efficiently
