Female Disability Support Worker (Sleepover Shift – Perth, WA) - Casual basis

Client: Male Participant

Location: Woodbridge

Shift Days: We are looking for someone with adaptable availability across all seven days of the week, as shifts may be required on any day, including weekends.

Shift Time:

- 11:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Active)
- 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM (Inactive Sleepover)
- 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM (Active)

Additional availability on other days will be highly regarded.

About the Role:

We are seeking a female disability support worker to assist a male participant. This role involves personal care, bowel care (Peristeen irrigation), bladder management (Uridome), and manual handling with the use of a standing hoist.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the participant with night and morning personal care routines
- Conduct Peristeen bowel irrigation therapy (as trained)
- Manage Uridome catheter system and ensure hygiene and proper flow
- Follow a Manual Handling Care Plan, including standing hoist transfers
- Maintain accurate progress notes and complete bowel and catheter charts
- Provide respectful and safe care aligned with the participant’s preferences
- Monitor and report any health changes to the appropriate coordinator

Essential Requirements:

- Female support worker (client preference)
- Certificate in Manual Handling, Medication Administration, and Bowel Care (Peristeen) – or willingness to undertake required training




- Demonstrated experience in personal care and high-intensity support
- Understanding of neurogenic bowel and catheter management
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid, and CPR

Desirable:

- Additional availability across the week
- Experience supporting participants with complex health conditions
- Familiarity with NDIS documentation and compliance

Job Types: Full-time, Casual Pay: $35.00 – $38.00 per hour
