Due to our recent expansion, we're looking for an experienced and motivated Fabricator to join our highly skilled and supportive team.

Our clientele includes local and interstate companies from industries such as Mining, Defence, Aerospace, Food Manufacturing, Farming & Agriculture, plus many more. This diverse clientele along with our 25 years’ experience in business has allowed Ironbox Engineering to set itself apart and excel in its field of engineering.

What we’re looking for:

Technical Criteria

As a Fabrication Technician, you'll be required to possess the following skill-set:

· Engineering trade-qualification (eg. Certificate III in Engineering or equivalent)

- Welding MIG, TIG and Brazing
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Mentoring of Apprentice Fabricators

Personal Attributes: · Reliable, positive attitude
- Self-Accountability and Accountability to others

· Productive and self-motivated · Great attention to detail

· Always striving to produce quality workmanship

· Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team

· Current Drivers Licence

Desirable (but not mandatory) Attributes:

· Current Forklift Licence

· First Aid Certificate

· Sheet metal experience

· Robot welding experience

· Painting/Finishing experience

· Fitting experience

- Management/Supervisor experience

· Experience with Autodesk Inventor
