Are you an experienced and compassionate Family Lawyer looking to take the next step in your career? Byron Family Law, a respected and growing boutique firm with offices in the Byron Bay region is looking for a talented Family Lawyer to join our dynamic team for a part-time role (3 days per week) to job share with a solicitor returning from maternity leave. Occasionally, you will be required in the office, however, this position is primarily remote.

What We're Looking For
- Experience: 3+ years recent PAE,
Family Law experience essential including solid practical and theoretical knowledge.
Proficient preferably in Smokeball or similar legal document management system and able to work autonomously.
- Current admission as a legal practitioner in Australia is required.
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, technologically savvy, excellent organisation, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Expertise: Proven experience in court work, mediation, drafting consent orders and binding financial agreements, confident client and stakeholder engagement, and ability to meet financial targets. Able to run own files and invoice regularly. Proficient in administrative skills needed for Outlook, Microsoft, Adobe etc.
- Mindset: A client-focused, empathetic, and outcome-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced yet supportive setting.
- Australian citizenship is required for this position.
