About the role

As a Family Lawyer (4+ years PAE) you will play a key role in providing strategic family legal advice and representation to a diverse range of clients. This is a full-time permanent position that can be based in Dandenong, Melbourne, or Pascoe Vale.

Key responsibilities

- Advising clients on all aspects of family law, including divorce, property settlement, child custody and support
- Drafting complex legal documents such as consent orders, financial agreements and parenting plans
- Representing clients in mediations, arbitrations and court proceedings
- Conducting legal research and analysis to support the resolution of complex family law matters
- Mentoring and supervising more junior members of the legal team
- Excellent 'client service' & attention to detail

About you

- Proven experience operating at Associate or Senior Associate level in family law,



with a proven track record of successfully representing clients
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in plain English
- Excellent legal research and analytical skills
- Demonstrated experience in supervising and mentoring more junior lawyers
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
