About the Role

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Female Disability Support Workers to join a 24-hour support team in Craigieburn.

The role involves supporting a participant with high-complexity care needs, including personal care, daily living assistance, manual handling, and hoist transfers.

We are looking for Support Workers who are reliable, qualified, confident with complex care, and committed to providing safe, respectful, person-centred support.

Shifts Available The current shifts requiring coverage are:

- 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
- 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
- 3:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

- Provide personal care and assistance with daily self-care routines
- Perform safe manual handling and hoist transfers
- Support the participant with daily living activities and established routines
- Follow the participant’s individual support and care plans
- Maintain accurate progress notes and required documentation
- Respect and promote the participant’s dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and control
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with other Support Workers and members of the wider care team
- Maintain professional boundaries and provide consistent, person-centred support

Essential Requirements To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

- Female Support Worker




- Previous experience supporting participants with high-complexity care needs
- Hoist training and confidence with hoist transfers
- Strong manual handling experience
- Previous experience providing personal care
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working with Children Check, where applicable
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid ABN
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Reliable vehicle
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Reliability and professionalism
- Ability to work effectively as part of a 24-hour support team

About You You are patient, respectful, dependable, and confident supporting participants with complex care needs.

You understand the importance of privacy, dignity, safety, participant choice, and control. You are committed to following individual support plans and established care routines.

You are comfortable working collaboratively with other Support Workers and the wider care team. You provide consistent and respectful support throughout the participant’s daily routine.
