We have an opportunity for outgoing, productive female Support Workers in the Quakers Hill region to support a man. This role involves personal care, access to the local community, driving to medical appointments and community participation. An understanding of Indian culture would be an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal care
- Accessing the community which involves the use of a car to transport to and from medical appointments etc
- Community participation
- Assistance with Daily living such as cleaning
Hours required: Tuesday 8am - 11am
Wednesday 7am - 11.45am
Thursday 8am - 11am
Sunday 8am - 11am and 4pm - 7pm
These hours are subject to change and may increase. Occasionally hours will also be extended for community participation.
Availability and flexibility will be prioritised.
Requirements:
- Experience in Disability Support, minimum 2 year
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Certificate NDIS Workers Screening Check / Module
- Working with Children Clearance
- Police Check
- Fluency in English
- Driver’s license with insured and reliable vehicle
- Certificate of Manual Handling
Hourly rate Weekdays - $42.18 per hour
Saturdays - $59.49 per hour
Sundays - $76.79 per hour
