Exploration Field Technicians - Diamond Drilling An established WA gold mining operation is currently seeking 3 experienced Exploration Technicians to join its exploration team.

These positions are required to start ASAP and will initially be offered with an expected 6-month contract. The roles will support an active diamond drilling exploration program, with previous diamond drilling experience highly regarded.

The Role

Working as part of the site exploration team, you will provide hands-on field support across the exploration program, including:

- Diamond core handling and processing
- Core orientation, mark-up, cutting and sampling
- Sample preparation, collection and dispatch
- Maintaining accurate geological and sampling records
- Working around active drill rigs
- Assisting geologists with day-to-day field and exploration activities




- Working closely with drill crews and the wider geology team

Experience Required

- Previous experience as an Exploration Technician, Field Technician or similar
- Diamond drilling experience is highly favourable, but not essential
- Experience with core handling, processing and sampling highly regarded
- Previous gold exploration or mining experience preferred
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Ability to work safely and effectively within a field-based workplace
