This is a casual remote FIFO Electrician role supporting metropolitan and remote project sites in Western Australia. The position involves performing electrical installation, maintenance, and repair on mining camps, commercial facilities, industrial plants, and civil infrastructure in accordance with Australian standards and site requirements. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults, conducting routine inspections and testing, and ensuring all systems operate safely and efficiently.

The FIFO Electrician will complete and maintain accurate documentation, such as job reports, test results, and safety records,



while adhering to company procedures and regulatory obligations. The role also includes collaborating with supervisors, project managers, and other trades, participating in pre-start and safety meetings, and proactively identifying and mitigating electrical risks on site.

Qualifications

- Strong practical skills in electricity and electrical work, including secure handling, installation, and operation of electrical systems.
- Proficiency in maintenance & repair activities, with the ability to carry out scheduled and corrective tasks on a variety of electrical equipment.
- Effective troubleshooting capabilities for diagnosing faults, interpreting test results, and implementing timely, safe solutions.
- Foundational knowledge in electrical engineering principles to understand system design, load requirements, and compliance with applicable standards.
- Valid Australian Electrical Trade Certificate and current WA electrical licence (or ability to obtain), plus construction White Card.
- Demonstrated experience in FIFO or remote site work within mining, industrial, or similar environments, with a strong safety focus.
- Ability to work in a rostered FIFO arrangement, adapt to changing site conditions, and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Current driver’s licence; CPR/LVR, first aid, and high-risk work licences (e.g., EWP) are highly regarded.
