Finance & Accounts Assistant – Part Time

Australian Scaffold is seeking a reliable, organised and detail-focused Finance & Accounts Assistant to provide day-to-day support to our Finance team.

This is a permanent part-time position starting at 3 hours per day, Monday to Friday , with the opportunity to increase to 4 hours and eventually 5 hours per day as the role develops.

You’ll help keep our payments, invoices, records and Finance administration accurate, organised and up to date .

What you’ll be doing

You’ll provide practical day-to-day Finance support, including:

- Applying daily customer payments to sales invoices
- Moving payable invoices from the Finance email inbox into Xero
- Ensuring financial data is entered accurately and completely
- Checking and following up missing or unclear information
- Filing and maintaining organised records
- General Finance administration
- Assisting with ad hoc office duties as required

Skills & experience

- Previous experience in accounts, bookkeeping, finance administration or a similar role
- Confidence working with numbers and financial information
- Good general computer skills
- Experience with Xero and/or MYOB would be highly regarded
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to reliably commute to our Riverstone office five days per week
