Established in 1871, the Art Gallery of Recent South Wales is located in Sydney’s The Domain adjacent to the Royal Botanic Garden and near the Central Business District, the Gallery acknowledges the original custodians of this land – the Gadigal people. The Art Gallery attracts around 2.6 million visitors annually and runs Australia’s largest education program with over 90,000 student and teacher visits per year.
With our expanded campus the Art Gallery has a new state-of-the-art building located next to our existing and much-loved building. Providing us with close to double the exhibition space, the expanded Art Gallery enables us to share more art with more people and provide more family, learning and educational programming for all our audiences.

About the Role The Finance Business Partner will play a pivotal role in supporting the Gallery through its Planning and Analytical team in the development of budgets, forecasts and financial plans, leveraging strong analytical capabilities to identify trends, evaluate performance and support strategic decision-making.

What Technical/Soft Skills you require
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance.
- CA or CPA qualified.
- 5+ years analytical experience.
- Experience in a Commercial environment desirable.
- Experience building financial models.
- Experience interacting with financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to analyse data efficiently, preparing accurate reports with commentary.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
