ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the CFO you'll be responsible for end-to-end Financial Reporting for a growing Fintech, taking ownership of financial planning, reporting, and compliance on a part-time basis. You'll report to the CFO and work closely with the executive team to support growth while maintaining strong financial controls and governance. Please note this is a fully remote,

part-time position for an initial

6 month Fixed term contract with view to go permanent.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

- Prepare management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis to support business decision-making.

- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

- Maintain and improve financial reporting systems and controls.

- Support audit and compliance activities, including interaction with external auditors and regulators.

- Lead a small finance team and mentor junior staff where applicable.





- Contribute to financial strategy and business planning initiatives.

ABOUT YOU

- Qualified accountant (CPA, CA or equivalent) with 7+ years' experience in finance management roles.

- Robust experience with SaaS, fintech or high-growth technology businesses (essential).

- Proficient in financial systems and reporting tools;

experience with cloud-based accounting software preferred.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Proactive problem-solver with strong attention to detail.

- Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities effectively across a 3-day week.
