Position overvew - Finance Systems Administrator

Our client is a leading financial services organisation located in Melbourne's inner-city suburbs and is seeking an experienced Finance Systems Administrator to join their team on a 9-month fixed-term contract.

The Role:

- Administer and maintain finance systems, ensuring accurate and effective day-to-day operation.
- Provide system support and troubleshooting to finance users.
- Manage user access, security, configurations and system permissions.
- Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, testing and implementation of new functionality.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and system efficiencies.
- Support data integrity, reconciliations and reporting across finance systems.
- Work closely with Finance, IT and key stakeholders to resolve system issues and deliver improvements.
- Prepare system documentation, procedures and user guides where required.
- Assist with month-end and other finance-related system requirements.




- Support integration between finance systems and other business applications.

About You:

- Previous experience in a Finance Systems Administrator, Finance Systems Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of finance processes and accounting systems.
- Experience administering or supporting ERP/finance systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Experience within financial services or a regulated environment will be highly regarded.
