Morson Edge Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Fire Door Technician / Installer to join a well-established and highly reputable fire company.

***THE ROLE:*You’ll be responsible for a range of fire door installation, maintenance and rectification work, including:

- Installing and fitting fire-rated doors, frames and associated hardware
- Conducting fire door inspections and identifying defects
- Completing repairs, maintenance and defect rectification
- Adjusting and replacing door closers, hinges, locks, handles, seals and other hardware
- Ensuring fire doors are correctly fitted, aligned and operating as required
- Replacing damaged or non-compliant components
- Taking measurements and assessing existing doors and frames
- Carrying out remedial works to bring doors up to the required standard
- Completing installation and inspection reports where required
- Working across commercial, residential, strata, government and major infrastructure sites
- Liaising with clients, site managers and other trades while on site
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard





***PROJECTS & SITES:*You’ll have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects, including:

- Strata properties and agencies
- National contracts
- Government agencies

***ABOUT YOU:*We’re looking for someone with:

- Previous experience as a Fire Door Technician / Installer
- Strong experience with fire door repairs and defect rectification
- Knowledge of fire doors, frames and associated hardware
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- A reliable and professional approach to work
