We are partnering with a highly regarded Tier 2 principal contractor seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to relocate to Brisbane and join an exceptionally well-resourced project team.

The prospect involves two separate circa-$100M projects being delivered on the same site – a major 12-level retirement living development and a separate aged care facility, both featuring large floor plates and significant finishing packages.

You'll get Tier 1 levels of project resourcing and sophisticated systems within a Tier 2 environment, combined with direct access to senior leadership, an exceptional culture and genuine career progression.

This isn't about relocating for one project. The business has a strong forward pipeline across South East Queensland and wants people looking to build a long-term career.

The Role

Working alongside an experienced Site Manager and well-resourced delivery team, you'll take ownership of key finishing packages through to completion and handover.

You'll be responsible for

- Managing multiple finishing trades across large floor plates.
- Driving short-term programmes, sequencing and productivity.
- Coordinating and holding subcontractors accountable.
- Managing QA, ITPs, inspections, defects and close-out.
- Maintaining exceptional quality, safety and presentation standards.
- Identifying and resolving programme and site issues.
- Driving your areas through completion and handover.

What We're Looking For We're looking for an experienced Finishing Foreman with Tier 2 principal contractor experience preferred, although it's not essential.

More importantly, you need to be comfortable operating within the sophisticated systems, processes and accountability expected on major construction projects.

Ideally, you'll have:

- Proven Finishing Foreman experience on significant projects.
- Multi-storey residential, retirement living, aged care, health or similar experience.
- A trade background, ideally carpentry.




- Robust knowledge of finishes, sequencing, QA and defects.
- Experience with ITPs, safety systems, short-term programming and reporting.
- Excellent subcontractor management skills.
- High standards around quality, safety and presentation.
- Natural leadership qualities and a genuine hunger to progress your career.

Previous Queensland experience is not essential. Interstate candidates must be comfortable obtaining a QBCC Site Supervisor Licence, including completing the relevant requirements through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), where applicable. Support around this process can be discussed.
