About the role

Reporting to the Fitting Shop Team Leader, you'll play a key role in the manufacture, assembly, repair and testing of Ebsray products. This is a hands-on Fitter/Turner role based at our Cromer site on Sydney's Northern Beaches.

Key responsibilities

- Bench fitting, assembly and testing of pump products
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Maintaining in-house equipment including radial drills, lathes, hydraulic presses, spray booths and test stations
- Repairing and overhauling in-house pumps
- Setting up and operating metalworking machinery
- Turning, milling, drilling, grinding and other machining operations
- Heat shrinking of components and broaching keyways on shafts
- Fitting and assembling metal components and sub-assemblies
- Diagnosing faults and repairing or replacing defective components
- Inspecting completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
