About the role

We are looking for a qualified Fitter & Turner or Machinist to operate manual lathes and report to the Workshop Leading Hand. CNC machining would be advantageous but not essential.

Would suit someone semi-retired, or someone looking for part time/permanent position.

Key responsibilities

- Carry out machining operations on ductile iron pipe, screw cutting and fitting of flanges to satisfy requirements of design drawings and relevant Australian Standards
- Carry out work in a tradesman like manner
- Machinery maintenance and housekeeping
- Adhere to instructions regarding QA and WHS obligations

About you

- Qualified Fitter & Turner or Machinist
- Able to operate manual lathes
- CNC machining experience advantageous but not essential
