About the role

We have multiple fantastic opportunities available in our Food Manufacturing team at Garlo’s Pies in Kingsgrove, including:

- Senior Process Worker
- Process Worker-casual
- Process Worker-permanent

As a Food Process Worker, you’ll play an essential role in producing Garlo’s Pies’ renowned range of savoury and sweet baked goods, while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency and food safety.

Key responsibilities

- Operate production equipment and machinery to mix, prepare, and assemble food products according to recipes and production schedules
- Monitor product quality and consistency at all stages of the manufacturing process
- Identify and report any issues or defects to ensure the highest standards are maintained
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work setting by following all food safety and hygiene procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity




- Work collaboratively with the wider production team to meet daily and weekly targets

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment, ideally within the baked goods industry
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work to tight production schedules
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Demonstrated understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods, lift and move heavy loads
