Front Foot | Melbourne (hybrid)
We're seeking an experienced General Counsel for a six-month secondment with a major health organisation. This is an prospect to lead a broad, hands-on legal function and give practical advice across the business.
- Senior, varied and hands-on generalist work
- Hybrid working: 2–3 days a week
- Six months | Full time
About you You are an experienced senior in-house lawyer with strong general corporate and commercial capability. You will have the depth and judgement to operate at General Counsel level, while remaining comfortable with day-to-day legal work. Strong in-house experience is important.
You'll be proactive, visible and well organised, with a practical and commercial approach. You'll be comfortable acting as the main legal point of contact, setting priorities and moving between routine and complex matters. Healthcare experience is strongly preferred. Your other experience may include:
- Property and leasing work
- M&A;
- Dispute management
