Your Core Duties and Responsibilities:

- To maintain the quality of the food products served
- Ensuring food quality and taste is of the highest standard
- Responsible to ensure the preparation station and the kitchen is set up and stocked
- Responsible to maintain health and high hygienic standard in Kitchen area
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
- Responsible to manage stock inventory and supplies
- Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
- Controlling and minimizing food wastage
- Responsible to cook menu in a timely manner with the support of the kitchen staff
- Ensure appealing plate presentation
- Slightly modify recipes to meet customers' needs and requests
- Discusses food preparation issues with managers,



and other staff members
- Requisitions food, kitchen supplies and equipment

Qualifications and Experiences:

- Relevant commercial cookery qualification, such as Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification
- At least two years of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen
- Knowledge of Korean cuisine and traditional Korean cooking techniques is highly desirable
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a busy kitchen
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
