About the role

Nuevo Medical is seeking General Practitioners to join the founding GP team at our new private billing multidisciplinary medical centre in Bundall on the Gold Coast. The centre has been purpose-built as a premium, modern clinical workplace, bringing together dedicated GP consulting rooms, nursing and treatment facilities, Cardiology, Specialist Medicine, Allied Health, Radiology and Pathology within the one location.

General Practice is a major part of the Nuevo model. Our GPs will work within a broader clinical environment designed to make collaboration, continuity and coordinated patient care easier, while retaining their clinical autonomy and independence.

The Nuevo model gives GPs the ability to look beyond the consultation itself. By bringing diagnostics, Cardiology, Specialist Medicine and Allied Health together within one environment, GPs can shape a broader care plan around the patient and have greater visibility over how that plan is implemented over time.

The General Practice will operate within a private billing model, with a focus on high-quality medicine, strong patient relationships, continuity of care and an excellent overall patient experience.

We welcome both established GPs with existing patient bases and doctors looking to develop a new patient following at Nuevo.

Full-time and part-time arrangements are available, including opportunities for doctors wishing to initially consult 2–3 days per week and increase their sessions over time.

Why Nuevo Medical

Nuevo Medical is building a multidisciplinary model of healthcare centred around coordinated patient journeys, prevention, early intervention, rehabilitation and long-term health. Our Bundall centre brings together General Practice, Cardiology, Specialist Medicine, Allied Health, Radiology and Pathology within one clinical environment.

Rather than simply placing different practitioners in the same building, Nuevo is designed to make collaboration easier and give doctors access to more of the clinical ecosystem around their patients.

GPs can draw on diagnostics, specialist input and Allied Health support where appropriate, while remaining closely involved in the patient’s broader management.

The aim is to reduce the fragmentation that often occurs when patients require investigations, specialist review, Allied Health intervention and ongoing follow-up, while preserving practitioner independence and patient choice.
