Pickering Automotive Group is seeking an experienced General Sales Manager to lead and develop our automotive sales team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive sales professional who understands dealership operations, can lead a team and is focused on delivering strong sales performance and an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the day-to-day sales operation
- Drive sales performance, profitability and vehicle targets
- Lead, motivate and mentor the sales team
- Monitor individual and team performance
- Develop strategies to increase sales and improve results
- Maintain strong customer relationships and service standards
- Oversee the customer journey from enquiry through to vehicle delivery
- Assist with vehicle purchasing, stock and inventory decisions
- Ensure sales processes and dealership standards are followed
- Work closely with management and other departments
- Analyse sales results and identify opportunities for improvement

About You




- Previous experience as a General Sales Manager or senior automotive sales manager
- Strong understanding of automotive dealership operations
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving targets
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong commercial awareness
- Professional presentation and leadership style
- Experience with prestige, luxury or high-end vehicles is highly regarded
- Current Australian driver's licence
