CHEF / COOK – KIM’S KOREAN DELI | DARLINGHURST

Kim’s Korean Deli is looking for a reliable, hardworking and experienced Chef/Cook to join our kitchen team in Darlinghurst.

You’ll work closely with our existing kitchen team and assist our head cook with daily food preparation, cooking and grilling. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with fresh ingredients, Korean-inspired food and a busy, fast-paced kitchen.

What you’ll be doing

- Assisting with daily food preparation and kitchen operations
- Cooking and preparing our Korean-inspired dishes
- Working alongside the kitchen team during busy service periods
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
- Following food safety, hygiene and cleanliness procedures
- Helping keep the kitchen organised, efficient and running smoothly
- Taking responsibility for your work and supporting the rest of the team when needed

What we’re looking for
- At least 1 year experience in a similar kitchen/chef/cook role
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Positive communication and teamwork skills




- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexibility to work various shifts (including evenings and weekends)
- Able to lift moderately heavy equipment
- Full working rights in Australia
