Looking for your next Mental Health locum? This is a highly recommended contract with an amazing, supportive team and would suit an experienced clinician looking to step into a key Duty Clinician position.

The Role

Working as the Duty Clinician within the Local Mental Health Service, you'll provide responsive mental health assessment and support to adults presenting with a range of mental health needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Completing comprehensive mental health and risk assessments
- Conducting Mental State Examinations (MSE)
- Providing psychoeducation to consumers and their families/carers
- Supporting clinical decision-making, triage and appropriate care pathways




- Working collaboratively within an experienced multidisciplinary mental health team
- Managing presentations involving varying levels of complexity and risk

Who We're Looking For

- Social Workers
- Occupational Therapists

You will need:

- Minimum 3+ years' experience working within Mental Health
- Strong experience completing risk assessments and MSEs
- Confidence working autonomously within a Duty Clinician capacity
- Relevant qualified registration/eligibility for your discipline
