HVAC Site Manager Tier 1 Mechanical Contractor, Major Projects

n

The Opportunity

n

A national Tier 1 mechanical contractor is expanding its Western Australian operations and is looking to appoint two HVAC Site Managers to support several major commercial projects commencing shortly.

n

The WA business has grown rapidly in recent years and is projected to increase revenue by more than 300% compared to four years ago. As project scale continues to grow, the company is investing in experienced site leaders to support its next stage of expansion.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead site teams including leading hands, HVAC technicians, apprentices and subcontractors
n
- Coordinate installation activities across large mechanical services packages
n
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme
n
- Monitor and report progress against schedule, cost and quality targetsMaintain accurate site records and work in progress documentation
n
- Participate in planning, coordination and project review activities
n




- Mentor apprentices and junior technicians on site
n

n

About You

n

n
- Strong experience leading HVAC installation teams on commercial or industrial projects
n
- Proven ability to manage teams of 20 plus personnel on site
n
- A visible commitment to safety leadership and best practice site culture
n
- Experience delivering mechanical packages on major construction projects
n
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive client relationships
n
- Familiarity with project scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera
n
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 tools including Teams and Excel
n
- Flexible to travel or work away from home where project requirements demand
n

Licences and Requirements

n

n
- WA Mechanical Licence preferred
n
- White Construction Card
n
- Ability to obtain National Police Clearance
n
- Ability to pass a pre employment medical
n
