Your new company Hays Trades & Labour works with some of the ACT's leading civil construction contractors, delivering major infrastructure, subdivision, utilities and road projects across Canberra and surrounding NSW regions.

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Civil Labourers to support a range of upcoming projects with well-established industry leaders.

Your new role

As a Civil Labourer, you will be working across a variety of civil construction sites, supporting with:

- General site labouring and site preparation
- Assisting with trenching, pipe laying and drainage works
- Spotting machinery and maintaining exclusion zones
- Shovelling, raking and material movement
- Site clean-up and maintaining a safe work environment
- Assisting skilled operators and tradespeople on site

No two days are the same, with opportunities to work across a variety of civil projects throughout the region.

What you'll need to succeed





To be considered for these opportunities, you will have:

- Previous civil or construction labouring experience
- White Card (essential)
- Asbestos Awareness ticket (essential)
- Silica Awareness ticket (essential)
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Reliable transport and a strong work ethic

Highly desirable tickets and licences include:

- Current Driver's Licence
- EWP (Elevated Work Platform)
- Working at Heights
- Roller, Loader or Excavator tickets
- Any other civil construction or high-risk work licences
