At MyConnect, we combine innovation, strong partnerships, and a supportive team culture to deliver simple, seamless solutions that help people get connected to the services they need. - Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of all financial records.
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close and reporting processes.
- Maintain strong internal controls and compliance frameworks.r
- Manage audit processes and relationships with external auditors and advisors.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Cashflow

- Lead the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes.
- Oversee cashflow management, working capital, and balance sheet performance.
- Monitor performance against budget and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities early.

Commercial Performance & Insight

- Embed strong commercial discipline across the organisation.
- Evaluate ROI on major initiatives, projects, and campaigns.
- Provide clear financial insights that support smarter decision-making.
- Strengthen governance and financial accountability across departments.

Reporting & Executive Engagement

- Deliver meaningful financial reporting that provides insight, not just numbers.
- Clearly articulate performance trends, risks, and opportunities to leadership.
- Present financial insights to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and group stakeholders.

Finance Leadership

- Lead and develop the finance function, uplifting capability, systems, and reporting standards.
- Oversee a team of 2-3 finance professionals within the finance function.
- Partner with leaders across the organisation to drive financial accountability and transparency.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, integrity, and strong financial stewardship.

What We're Looking For We're seeking a finance leader who combines technical excellence with strong commercial judgement and strategic thinking.

You will bring

- 10+ years' experience in senior financial management, financial control, or commercial finance roles.
- CPA or CA qualification with strong technical accounting expertise.
- Proven experience leading budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, and financial modelling in a growth-focused environment.
- A robust commercial mindset, with the ability to influence senior leaders on investment and performance decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
- Must have current Australian work authorisation to be eligible for this position.

If you're a commercially savvy finance leader ready to help drive growth and performance, we'd love to hear from you.
