Kearnan College has approximately 300 students and 56 teaching and support staff. We are seeking an outstanding educator and leader for the position of Head of Learning Area (HASS) for a 2027 start.

The HoLA (HASS) is a key member of the Kearnan College Middle Leadership Team and the successful applicant will play a pivotal role in nurturing a safe, inclusive and faith-filled setting where students grow spiritually, emotionally, socially and academically. Our HoLAs work collaboratively as a collective group for the betterment of the College’s educational achievement.

Selection Criteria

- Willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the school.
- Experience teaching within the HASS Learning Area.
- Sound understanding of SCSA requirements.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
- Skills to contribute to and promote a strong staff culture focused on support and improvement.
- Willingness to support staff in the implementation of our Whole School Instructional Model.
