MediRec is seeking experienced Registered Nurses and Assistants in Nursing to support residential aged care facilities across Hervey Bay on a temporary and casual basis.

You'll join established care teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining the safety, dignity and wellbeing of residents.

Alongside local casual work, MediRec also offers 4-12 week contracts across Australia, giving you the option to combine regular local shifts with travel opportunities when it suits you.

Duties

- Deliver high-quality care within a residential aged care setting
- Support residents with their individual clinical and personal care needs
- Complete accurate documentation and handovers
- Identify and report changes in residents' health or behaviour
- Work collaboratively with clinical and care teams
- Maintain a safe, respectful and skilled environment

Skills and experience

- Current AHPRA registration for Registered Nurses




- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or Ageing Support for AINs
- Full working rights in Australia
- At least 3-6 months of recent Australian aged care experience
- Up-to-date Flu and COVID vaccinations
- Current National Police Check
- Confidence working within a fast-paced aged care environment
