THE ROLE

The Senior Education and Capacity Building Advisor plans and implements communication and education activities that support the Social Services Regulator's (SSR) priorities, education objectives and stakeholder engagement outcomes. The Senior Education and Capacity Building Advisor develops high-quality education and guidance materials that:

- meet the needs of our diverse audiences across the child safety and social services sectors
n
- promote improved compliance with each of the schemes the SSR regulates or administers
n
- contribute to safer systems for children and people who use social services. You will play a senior role in building relationships with key stakeholders in complex and sensitive environments. You will apply your communications and education expertise and insight to identify emergent risks and issues and collaborate to ensure a consistent, integrated, and creative approach to education

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

n

- Develop and implement communication and engagement plans that support education, awareness and behaviour change campaigns, regulatory initiatives and stakeholder engagement activities.
n
- Prepare high-quality and timely communication and education materials to support the Social Services Regulator including external-facing guidance material, stakeholder newsletters, fact sheets, Q&As.;
n
- Develop, support and administer the delivery of high-quality presentations and webinars.
n
- Support and coordinate communities of practice.
n
- Provide specialist communications and education advice to business units and project teams on audience engagement, communication approaches and communication risks
